Letter 2

Today has been a lot more active than the first five days.

I think Coronum has finally realized that we’re out here, trying to be a thorn in their side. They keep sending police patrols, which I think are robots, to look for us. It’s weird, thinking that me and my sister are suddenly public enemy number one. So far, we haven’t had any run-ins with them directly, but they always seem to be out there.

They don’t delve too far into the forest yet, though, so that’s a plus.

We have a small campsite set up right now, deep into the trees near one of the waterfalls. I haven’t seen any of the monsters nearby, so I think we’re safe enough.

I don’t think I’ll get used to ignoring them any time soon. I can walk right by, and they won’t even raise a hand (claw?) towards me. It’s a different matter with Yang, but she has some sort of special body meant for killing the fog creatures, so she can handle herself, no matter how many she manages to attract.

To be honest, I think she finds it fun, the running and chasing and hunting. It still eats me up inside, but I guess she’s been on the run a lot longer than me. No matter how much I ask, she refuses to tell me everything she’s done in the Falls.

Within the next day or two, we plan on trying to get into one of the old storage facilities and seeing what we can find. One of the real old, decrepit ones. They might have some old files or other things to find that we can make use of. There shouldn’t be much “security,” according to Yang at least. Maybe a monster or two, but nothing we supposedly can’t handle.

I’ll keep you posted. Stay safe, please.

I think we’re being followed. We expected to be followed by Coronum people, eventually. The bands of police bots or some underpaid interns or whatever. I would have thought, though, that it would take

Almost got hit by a car today. That was fun, I guess. Yang and I were walking down main street earlier. Later at night, too, so we figured it would be empty. Just kind of seeing what was up; if anythi

We stopped by the Paradox office today. Not to find or get anything. Just for nostalgia’s sake I guess. I don’t think nostalgia’s really the right word, but it’s the only one I got. You guys really di
